Dark Berry Dr Pepper Is Here. This Is Our Review.
I believe Dr Pepper is the world’s best beverage. It has such an inimitably delicious flavor: sweet with hints of fruit, but not too sugary. Like a fine wine, it complements all types of food. I truly believe classic Dr Pepper needs no improvement. And yet, the company continues to churn out new flavors. Most recently, limited-edition Dark Berry Dr Pepper hit the shelves. We tried some in the Sporked office to determine if this new flavor is somehow an improvement on the already-exceptional classic.
New Product
Dark Berry Dr PepperDark Berry Dr Pepper was released in honor of the new Jurassic World movie. It comes in a blue can and features the T-Rex from the movie! Great branding. But unfortunately, the soda itself leaves less than a blockbuster taste in your mouth. To me, it tastes like Dr Pepper mixed with a melted Blue Raspberry Icee. Danny Palumbo, fellow Sporked staff writer, thought it tasted almost exactly like plain Dr Pepper. While we disagreed about the exact flavor, we agreed that we aren’t sure why you’d buy this over a regular Dr Pepper. That being said, if you’re craving something a little different from your usual Dr P, then grab one of these, I guess!
